PALMISTRY FOR LOVERS / HOW NOT TO PICK A LOSER / CHOOSE YOUR OWN TITLE (AND COVER!)

MK25 WITH LOSER Curved How NOT to pick a loser dating advice for women

PALMISTRY for Lovers Mk5 23 June 2014 DEEPER PINK LVRS LATEST DESIGN

I wrote this little guide because I thought others would find it helpful. I’m not a professional palmist, just an interested amateur who has long found the subject fascinating.

Why would the lines on people’s palms be so very different? Some people have short lines, some long, some curved, some straight, some deeply etched and others barely there at all. Some people’s palms just have the basic Head, Heart and Life Lines, while others have so many lines they look like Grand Central Station terminus!

It’s confusing, right? Yet if you consider that lines on the palm of the hand can and do change over time, and are willing to accept that it is the palm’s human owner who is causing these changes, then you will also be likely to accept that a person’s decision to alter behaviour, to make an effort to actually work on indicated aptitudes, to encourage their strengths and to fight their weaknesses have wrought the changes.

The Dominant hand (if they’re right-handed) will show how a person has changed over time. The Non-Dominant hand shows what a person started out with and what their potential might be (and vice versa if they’re left-handed).

This is just a basic guide to help you choose wisely if you’re in the market for a new life partner. It provides pointers you would be sensible to look out for if you’re thinking of moving a relationship to the next level. It’s not cast in stone; as I said, people can and do change as dissimilar palm lines between Dominant and Non-Dominant hands make plain. But if certain traits are evident on BOTH palms, it’s indicative that this particular person perhaps does not have the capacity to change.

Okay, while someone’s romancing you, they’ll be careful to keep their less attractive traits hidden; we all do it to an extent. But some traits are far less appealing and unlikely to lead to a successful romantic relationship than others.

For instance, does the non-dominant hand show certain tendencies? Tendencies like:

* fecklessness with money
* predisposition for unfaithfulness
* if he’s got the gambling bug and will bet your home on the turn of a card.
* if he’s got the opposite, but just as bad trait – being mean with money

These are all traits or potential traits — especially if they’re present in both hands — which should warn you to be wary.

We all tend to wear rose-coloured spectacles when it comes to a new love interest. But please, just remove those glasses for a little so you can see what’s there, either deliberately hidden from you or obscured by those rose-coloured spectacles. Then, there in the palms of his hands, you will see your lover’s true personality.

Worth knowing, I think.

Suffering countless rejections in your writing career? Perhaps you’re trying to write in the wrong genre or sphere. Whilst your perseverance is admirable, maybe it’s time to find out if you’re aiming for a genre entirely unsuited to your skills and talents.

Use this little palmistry guide to point you to an area of writing more suited to your true talents and thus give yourself a greater chance of success, whether as a traditionally published author or as an indie.

The ancient art of palmistry is there to guide you — if you have an open mind — and may well lead you to the genre of writing which best suits your talents. Why not give it a try? What have you got to lose?

In my earlier life as a writer, I persevered with writing short romantic novels, when all the time, a little voice inside me said I ought to try writing crime (clearly, my imaginative HEAD LINE wanted the chance to try a bit more plotting: a point echoed by rejecting editors, whose comments tended to be of the — ‘Too much plot and not enough romance’, type!)

Eventually, I paid heed to what that little voice and the rejecting editors, had said, and turned to writing crime novels. And, under my Geraldine Evans name, I succeeded in having seventeen of these published (Macmillan, St Martin’s Press, Worldwide, Severn House), as well as an historical, Reluctant Queen: About the little sister of infamous English king, Henry VIII (Hale).

Who knows, but that you, too, might find greater success when you direct your talents in their true direction?

This one has also undergone a change of cover and title. It might yet undergo another one because I want the two books in my New Age series to match. Hmm! More work! Meant to be doing some writing…WRITING WOES How To Avoid them And Get It RIGHT Next Time Mk 3 But I LOVE doing covers, even if my experience of GIMP photo-editing (free) software is limied. 🙂
